Wi-Fi QR code: how to create one in a minute
A Wi-Fi QR code is handy in cafés, offices and at home: a guest points the camera and connects without typing the password. Here's how to create one on lnk.tj.
Pick the “Wi-Fi” type
When creating a link, switch the type to “Wi-Fi” (available on paid plans) — network fields appear above the form.
Enter the network and password
Type the network name (SSID), the encryption type and the password. Optionally protect the page with a password.
Style and download the QR
In the designer set the pattern, color and logo, then download the QR as SVG or PNG to print on a sign.
Dynamic or static
A dynamic QR routes through the domain and tracks scans; a static QR encodes the data directly and works offline.
FAQ
Does the guest type a password?
No — scanning the dynamic Wi-Fi link connects the phone to the network automatically.
Does it work offline?
A static QR encodes the network data in the code itself and works without internet (but without scan stats).
